Central NJ Wedding
“Distance between two hearts is not an obstacle, rather a beautiful reminder of just how strong true love can be.”
Matt and Marcella’s Central NJ wedding was the perfect way to spend a Saturday. The couple has been together for years, and makes a sacrifice that many of us couldn’t handle. Matt is currently stationed in Italy, and Marcella is stateside. For our country, the two of them deal with distance, short visits, and months in-between times together. It is a true testament to their love, that they are making it work together.
When Marcella’s Mom contacted me about photographing their wedding, she said: “They just want to be married.”
Is there any better way for a young couple to feel?? The couple’s love and devotion to one another was a palpable thing. They were glowing with pride and with happiness throughout their intimate event.
With a small wedding of 40 people, at Lago in North Brunswick, each guest was able to express their happiness for the new Mr. and Mrs. Lucid on a personal level. It was a joy to watch Matt and Marcella show such gratitude to each and every guest as they were wished well.
Lago has a beautiful patio with views of Farrington Lake that provided the perfect background to their vows. Matt eyes simply glowed as he watched Marcella race down the isle!! It was no secret she wanted to get to him fast!
Revered Richard H. Weyer from St. Paul’s in Milltown, gave a heartfelt sermon which clearly showcased that he knows the couple on a personal level. Matt grew up at St. Paul’s and was happy to see his pastor again.
Surrounded by beautiful coral, blue, and white flowers, Mr. and Mrs. Lucid happy began the first day of the rest of their lives. Scroll below to see some of my favorite images from their day!
