Bayonet Farms Engagement Photography // New Jersey
Being a New Jersey Photographer has been sort of a whirlwind. I sit around, watching my weather app with stilted breath and nervous flutters in my stomach. Going from thinking my clients will be too hot, to thinking they are going to freeze, to packing umbrellas, to worrying about the sunset all in the span of 30 minutes. It’s been up, it’s been down, it’s been crazy. Needless to say, I am ready for summer – beach shots anyone?!
At Bayonet Farms, I got to shoot one of the most meaningful shoots yet. Emily and Dan’s engagement session was EXTRA special for me, because Emily is my sister in law. I not only get to be a part of their entire process but I actually get to be in the wedding!! So do my two little ones, who are already practicing their flower girl moves (a year early). Getting to capture love, memories, and photos for people you care about is a privilege I feel blessed to have.
When Emily and Dan talk about their style, they often mention how they love rustic, modern country, and converse. They know who they are and love to show it off. They fell in love over Zac Brown’s Chicken Fried, their love of BBQ sauce, and modest date nights where they became best friends as well as a couple.
They both value their family and friends – her MOH made those special date cookies 😍 – and have a strong net around them, who will help celebrate their new life as a married couple.
Enjoy the photos below of two very special people, who truly embody the love an engaged couple should have!
